Once part of the Odirian Kingdoms, Avalon has changed into a wilderness of ruins and danger and is often referred to as ''The Savage West". The ruins that were once considered neutral territory have now been fairly recently claimed by three determined, but dangerous tribes. The White Stag Tribe, The Blue Moon Tribe and the Lost Serpent Tribe. The tribes consist mostly descendants of the former Avalon citizens that managed to survive the "Crimson Raid". The people of the tribes are considered savages, while not much is known about them. Those who sought to observe the tribe never came back to tell the tale. The ones who do come back from their journeys to Avalon have been lucky enough to not have encountered them.
Ruling Tribes
Since the fall of Avalon, three tribes have established themselves within the region. During many years, the Avalon tribes have evolved into functioning communities. Communities of descendants whose ancestors have shared the same, terrifying fate. Some tribes have other ideas about how to rule within the wilderness that is Avalon today than others. While one shelters their kind away from any kind of further danger, the other tribe tries to satisfy their bloodlust and hunger for revenge, capturing and killing every trespasser crossing their paths. While all three of them are different, there is one thing they have in common. All of them work together to guard and protect Avalon's sacred treasures. It is the last task they can honour their grieving patron with.

The Blue Moon Tribe
The Blue Moon tribe, named after the rare event of a thirteenth full moon, is a tribe that consists mostly of druids living life within animal forms. Most of them shapeshift into leopards or panthers: predators that thrive in the rainforest. Beside these types of druids, lycanthropes from all over the realm that have fled from society are accepted into this pack, that is, if they pledge to protect Avalon and its ruins. Another must is that they're banished from the tribe's territory each full moon, to prevent accidents from happening. The Blue Moon tribe lives sheltered away from the other tribes, travelling through all of Avalon. The only forms of contact they have with the other tribes is switching the guards within Falerien and the occasional emergency meetings between Chiefs. The Lost Serpent Tribe
The Lost Serpent tribe is a name feared by many. It welcomes all of those who have Avalon blood in their veins, and resents everyone that does not. Their hunger for revenge over their fallen kingdom is what leads them. Living within a settlement hidden within the treetops, they have created a community of murder machines. The only ones they'll reason with are the other Avalon tribes, and those with Avalon blood who live solitarily. They've mastered the art of anything poisonous. Poison arrows, darts and potions. They capture any intruder on sight, forcing them into a often not so friendly, rather violent interrogation back at their settlement, which is almost certain to have death as an end result. The White Stag Tribe
The White Stag tribe is a tribe that consists purely of wood elves. They are the descendants of important wood elf families of which some members miraculously survived the fall of the kingdom. They are the most sophisticated of tribes. As of now, they've reclaimed the ruins of Wealdstone and restored it, turning it into their own, small village. Their village is the last snippet of what Avalon used to look like. Beautiful, overgrown buildings and classic chapels built out of white stone. While coming across as peaceful, the White Stag tribe has some of the fiercest warriors, which have mastered the art of the bow and arrow and are not afraid to use it on intruders. Killing is never their intent, but they won't hesitate if an opponent puts their life in danger.
Cities & Villages
Falerien
The fallen capital
Once the most beautiful part of Avalon, the fallen capital Falerien is nothing more than a painful reminder of the past. The fallen city still looks breathtaking, but it is nothing compared to the lively city it used to be. The ruins of the capital hold some of Avalon's most valuable treasures, but are heavily guarded by the three remaining tribes that have claimed the lands of Avalon for themselves. For the tribes, Falerien is considered neutral ground. Within these ruins it is them against the intruders.
Wealdstone
Village
Wealdstone used to be a peaceful, little wood elf village, but is now the self-proclaimed home of the White Stag Tribe. As the most domesticated of the tribes, they've tried to restore the overgrown houses and make them their own. The houses are mostly made of stone and other materials found within the woods of Avalon. The White Stag Tribe lives within the village as a little community, accepting no help or visits from outsiders.

Aeredale
Village
Living among the treetops resides the Lost Serpent Tribe. Their camp and houses are built within a village hidden within the trees. The tribe consists of many archers, hence their wise choice of choosing a home like this. From within the trees' thick branches they can easily see intruders padding through their self proclaimed territory. The buildings within the trees are connected to each other with bridges. To reach their camp, they make use of both primitive elevators –people pulling them up with ropes– and their tree-climbing abilities.

Other Places
Aerilon
Settlement
Located amidst the verdant beauty of the Fallen Kingdom, Aerilon provides a refuge for those traversing the diverse landscapes of Avalon. It is a small camp that transcends the conventional notion of a village. Situated on the fringes of the rainforest, the village camp maintains a harmonious balance with its natural surroundings. As the focal point for travellers, Aerilon serves as a gateway to the Everlasting Path. It offers supplies for those travelling through the country, for a hefty price. One might even find a local guide here, yet these can be as treacherous as the forest itself.
Skystead
Ruins
Hidden within the depths of the Adelian Rainforest lies the forsaken ruins of Skystead. Once a flourishing village of remarkable beauty, Skystead now stands as a haunting testament to the ravages of the Crimson Dawn. Like the ruins of Falerien, it was abandoned and left to the passage of time. The remnants of stone and wood, overgrown with moss and vines, evoke a sense of melancholy as they stand in stark contrast to their former glory. Nowadays these shattered remnants have found new purpose as an outlook for the wood elves, the sole inhabitants of Avalon who still venture into this forsaken place.
