At the southern part of Odiria, hidden behind the Infernal Wilds lies the kingdom of Xaila. Gifted to the sun elves during the founding of the four kingdoms, they've managed to survive, prevail and even thrive within the desert's tough circumstances. Xaila consists of one large capital city and several villages surrounding it. Each of the villages belongs to one of Xaila's desert tribes, and are often not as easily accessible as Xaila's capital. Xaila's expertise lies within the astronomy skill. By reading the stars they have been able to find their way through the desert for ages.
Ruling Family
The strong and resilient sun elves of the Daetrys bloodline have been ruling over Xaila ever since its founding. As polyamory plays a huge part in Xailan culture, the Daetrys line is the biggest ruling bloodline in all of Odiria. Even though accepting of other races living within their kingdom, it is strictly forbidden for anyone carrying this surname to have children with a non-sun elf, as they believe their race is the rightful ruling race of the kingdom. When this happens and a child comes out as something other than a sun elf, they are denied the royal surname.

Cities & Villages
Al-Qahil
Capital city
Al-Qahil, meaning "the dry'' or "the arid", is Xaila's enormous capital city. It is the only real city within the kingdom, but the biggest capital city of all. Two of Al-Qahil's signature points of interest are the royal palace and their gigantic planetary calendar room, which is hidden behind the palace and can only be accessed with a pair of royal guards to guide and let you in. The architecture within the city consists of white and sand coloured buildings, beautifully decorated with golden details. On the local markets, the stands are often colourful, mostly bearing the kingdom's traditional colours.
Currently ruled by the royal Daetrys family.

Jahriyah
Village
At the edge of the Wild Cascade lies the village of Jahriyah. This ancient village has been run by the same, small desert tribe ever since its founding. Its name is based on what the village could have been. An "almost Zahriyah", if they were to receive the same blessings. The people of Jahriyah have a good relationship with the capital. While having sun priests of their own, they travel towards Al-Qahil for each wedding within their village, to let the couple be blessed by the High Priest. It is a rather content village which has been thriving at the edge of the river for centuries.

Zahriyah
Village
At the northernmost point of the kingdom lies the village of Zahriyah. Named after the legend of the first chieftain's daughter. Legend states that her birth caused the small nearby river to flow and bless the village with the lush area surrounding it. Zahriyah was believed to be a child from Xeion, gifted to the wife of their chieftain for the both of them to raise. Zahriyah's people tend to have an easier life compared to the other tribes within the desert, because of the amount of trees and animals surrounding the village. It is the lushest village within the kingdom.
Currently ruled by the chieftain of the Sun Sister tribe.

Situated on the edge of the land, it gazes out to the grandeur and untamed beauty of the seas.
