Surrounded by the sea and its charm, the Lemurian Alliance that once bore the name of The Lemurian Kingdom, thrives in its newfound method of reign. The former monarchy now led by a trustworthy council is the first of the four kingdom's to take this step. Led by the heads of five important families closest to the ruling family, Lemuria is seen as the most peaceful of the four kingdoms. Their former capital Lythrania is one of the most breathtaking landmarks within Odiria. Hidden within the Sanguine Sea, the underwater city of Lemuria is a sight to behold. A magical barrier has been cast upon its founding and has been providing the citizens of Lythrania with oxygen for decades. Beside the capital, Lemuria consists of several other cities and villages surrounding the Sanguine Sea.
    Ruling Council
Like the other three kingdoms, Lemuria once bore the name of the Kingdom of Lemuria and was ruled by the royal Elaéydar bloodline, a bloodline consisting mostly of moon elves. Over the years, the concept of a pure-blood moon elf bloodline began to vanish, as Lemuria became a kingdom seeking more and more equality between elves and the other races inhabiting it. Some members of the royal bloodline began marrying mages or humans, eventually leaving less and less moon elves within their line. Opinions varied when it came to this matter.

After the death of crown prince Ezriel's father, the newly crowned King made a decision that no other kingdom has made before. Lemuria would bid its monarchy farewell, and would rule as a council from now on. He sent word to the three governing families, who were also closest to the Elaéydar line, and requested that each of the families would send a trustworthy member to Moonbright, the new capital, to take place within the Lemurian Council. These families were the following three: The Aerendyl family, the Emoira family and the Vylasar family. The other two council positions would be filled by worthy members of rotating families. Before the council was established the Emoira family ruled Moonbright as governors, yet they were gracious enough to give up their city and their seat in favour of always being guaranteed a seat on the Council.

The Lemurian Council was created in 1450. Opinions on this method of reign are divided, but it doesn't seem like Ezriel regrets his decision. To him, this was a step needed to give the citizens of Lemuria the certainty of a brighter future. A future he wouldn't be able to create on his own.

    Cities
    Moonbright
    Capital city
Residing on a cliff beside the Sanguine sea lies the city of Moonbright, Lemuria's new capital. When leaving their monarchical regime behind they decided to move their new formed council to another city. The people of Lemuria are keen on symbolism after all. Moonbright Is the largest city within the Lemurian Alliance. Its white coloured buildings and greenery in and around the city makes for a signature aesthetic. At the cliffside of the city stands a great castle-like building, in which the council members and their families reside. The huge, government-centre within the centre of the city is where they hold their meetings. The city is named after their patron, the moon, which shines the brightest on the cliffside city.

    Lythrania
    Former Capital
Named after Lemuria's patron deity, their former capital city Lythrania lies beyond the surface of the Sanguine Sea. It is Lemuria's biggest pride. The city was gifted to them by the powerful dragon Laphiss, back in the day when dragons still roamed within the realm. With her powerful magic beyond any mortal's comprehension, she casted a magical barrier which made the city inhabitable for Lemuria's people. The entrance to Lythrania is a large door, always guarded, leading to an underwater tunnel. At its end lies the small city. Instead of the sky, you're greeted with sun rays shining through the sea's surface and schools of fishes swimming behind the barrier.

    Silvercrest
    City
Located near Lake Celestia lies the city of Silvercrest. While the city is not as large in size as Lemuria’s capital, it is one of riches and elegance. The city forms the heart of a few fisher towns alongside the lake and the many farms in the vast fields occupying the green land. The city has an abundance of markets and at the edge lies the governor’s castle. The peaceful environment of Lake Celestia attracts many to admire its beauty. According to legend, the lake used to be a different shape but has over time changed into that of a crescent moon. Many speculate about what could have caused this to happen.
